Virtually impossible for a 'Best' film but Goodfellas is pretty much as close as it'll ever come to choosing just one film for me.

The BBC did a cut Of GF 1 and 2 which was in chronological order showed it over a couple of nights, back in the 80s I think it was, didn't improve it at all really just different

Not too sure about 'Up' though.

Another huge fav of mine is The Day of the Jackal.

There's something about mry, dirt rotten scoundrels, planes trains and midnight run, comedy classics.
